Acquisition of Emergent Online Positions TAG for Explosive Growth
GERMANTOWN, Md., Mar. 12, 2008 - Today The Asbury Group - Integrated Technologies announced it is changing its name to TAG Integrated Technologies, LLC (”TAG-IT”). Once the in-house information technology department for Asbury Communities, one of the largest Senior Living providers in the United States, TAG-IT now provides information technology services to mid-Atlantic clients in an array of industries. TAG-IT is seeing explosive growth as it provides technology solutions tailored to fit the needs of each client.
As part of its model for growth, TAG-IT has acquired the Information Technology Integration business from Emergent Online, a well known provider of high level IT solutions in the mid-Atlantic region.
“The name change reflects our position as the premier provider of essential technology services for our clients,” said Chip Burns, TAG-IT president. “As evident in our acquisition of Emergent Online’s integration business and our authorization to resell IT solutions from Quest, VMware, Vizioncore and Datacore we continue to find vehicles which enable us to provide more and better solutions for our existing client base. In addition, we are seeing enormous growth as these solutions and our expertise is being sold to a new clientele which extends beyond the Senior Living industry.”

Acquisition of Emergent Online’s Integration Business positions TAG-IT to offer clients the next generation of IT solutions built around application, server and desktop virtualization technologies.
